We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager with a strong background in managing AI, Machine Learning, and Data Engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will oversee end-to-end project deliveryensuring alignment between business objectives, technical execution, and stakeholder expectations. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, data engineers, software developers, and business leaders to deliver high-impact data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of AI and Data Engineering projects across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and risks to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, analysts, and product owners.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, dashboards, and status reports.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security policies.
- Work with stakeholders to prioritize backlog items and manage change requests effectively.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management methodologies and delivery processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 12 years of total experience, with at least 3-5 year managing AI/ML or Data Engineering projects as technical PM.
- Proven experience in managing projects using Agile/Scrum or Hybrid methodologies.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML lifecycle, Data Pipelines, ETL processes, Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and Big Data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Databricks, etc.).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Experience using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Trello, Asana).
- Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear business language for executive stakeholders.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Master certification.
- Exposure to MLOps, Model Governance, or DataOps frameworks.
- Experience working in banking/financial domain
- Strong communication & stakeholder management skills.
