Project Manager (6 Months Contract)

Job Summary
To collaborate with the Management team, other departments, and prospective partners to project manage new opportunities and deployment to deliver a successful mobilisation. Ensure the effective management of organisational change during project mobilisation, minimising resistance, and fostering adoption to support seamless transitions.

Job Description

• Oversee the mobilisation of new business partners going-live, ensuring a smooth handover to Business-as-Usual (BAU) teams.

• Manage the launch of new services for existing partners upon request from BAU teams.

• Lead project management efforts, ensuring detailed project actions, timelines and budgets are prepared and maintained.

• Schedule project meetings and provide updates to City SMEs on progress, issues, timelines, recruitment, project risks, and other key aspects.

• Prepare and distribute weekly mobilisation status updates.

• Design and implement structured change management plans and frameworks to support project mobilisation and adoption.

• Identify key stakeholders, assess their impact, and develop engagement plans to ensure alignment and buy-in.

• Drive clear, consistent, and timely communication plans to educate, inform, and prepare stakeholders for upcoming changes.

• Conduct assessments to identify potential risks, challenges, and resistance points, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.

• Monitor organisational readiness and adoption rates, making adjustments to plans and interventions as required.

• Work closely with operational leaders and other teams to embed change processes within business functions.

• Measure the effectiveness of change initiatives, capturing lessons learned and refining future change strategies accordingly.

Job Specifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.

• 3-5 years of experience in project management and planning.

• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.

• Facilities maintenance mobilisations of hard and soft maintenance programs.

• Extensive experience as a hands-on manager responsible for multiple projects.

• Time management and planning abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficiency in project management tools and software.

• Ability to meet tight deadlines.

• Ability to work with numerous stakeholders (internal and external) of various levels.

• Ability to lead a mobilisation team, understand priorities and pressure points.

• Adaptability and resilience in a rapidly changing environment.
