Key Responsibilities
- Drive and manage the PMO governance framework as an individual contributor, ensuring full compliance with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Establish and manage robust stakeholder engagement strategies, working closely with senior leadership, business units, technology teams, and external partners.
- Drive comprehensive project financial management including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, variance analysis, and benefits realization.
- Implement portfolio-level reporting mechanisms, dashboards, and KPIs to provide accurate visibility into project health, risks, dependencies, and financial performance.
- Ensure effective project lifecycle management including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure controls.
- Conduct governance reviews, steering committee reporting, audit readiness, and compliance documentation.
- Identify and mitigate program risks, ensuring proactive issue escalation and resolution.
- Standardize PMO processes, templates, and methodologies to enhance delivery efficiency and transparency.
- Support transformation initiatives, digital programs, regulatory projects, and enterprise change initiatives within Banking / Insurance / FinTech environments.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 8+ years of overall experience, with at least 4+ years in a senior PMO capacity.
- Proven experience in Banking, Insurance, or FinTech organizations.
- Strong expertise in project financial governance and portfolio financial management.
- Demonstrated experience managing senior stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards in financial services.
- Experience managing large-scale transformation, digital, or regulatory programs.
- Proficiency in PM tools (MS Project, Clarity, JIRA, Power BI, etc.).
- PMP / PRINCE2 / PgMP / Agile certifications preferred.
