About The Team
We are looking for a Project Manager (Thailand Market) to drive funding-related initiatives, focusing on ABS/ABL project management, investor onboarding, and new funding scheme development. This role will work closely with both regional and local teams to optimize funding strategies, enhance systems, and strengthen relationships with bank partners.
Job Description
ABS / ABL Project Management
- Support new investor onboarding in due diligence, terms negotiations, and SOP/structure design in partnership with regional Business Development, Risk, Legal, and Finance teams.
- Manage existing ABS processes with local teams (finops, finance, treasury, legal, external parties), including asset revolving, reporting, AUP audits, and SOP enhancements.
- Serve as local admin for the ABS system and Investor Portal, collaborating with regional PMs to provide business insights, organize UAT, and train internal/external stakeholders.
New Funding Scheme Development
- Explore and onboard new funders, with a focus on local banks, across various structures (e.g., channeling, asset-backed lending, corporate loans).
- Drive end-to-end onboarding including pitching, structure design, terms negotiations, system BRD, SOP design, and ongoing project management.
- Partner with ShopeePay Infra team to optimize cost of funds and strengthen funding efficiency.
- Manage and grow relationships with bank partners, particularly in consumer finance and corporate finance teams.
Requirements
Must-have
- Minimum 3 years of experience in consumer finance, retail banking, corporate banking, or audit.
- Strong knowledge of the consumer loan business in Thailand.
- Solid data and financial modeling skills.
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable with financial/analytical tasks.
- Strong pitching, communication, and coordination skills.
Good to have
- Background in a bank management trainee program with exposure to both retail and corporate banking.
- Experience with SQL or Python for data analytics.
