Job Description

Job Summary: The Project Management Manager (Scaffolding Works) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising scaffolding projects from inception to completion. The role ensures that all scaffolding activities comply with safety regulations, project specifications, timeline requirements, and cost targets. This position oversees project teams, liaises with clients and contractors, and ensures smooth project execution in accordance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Coordination Develop project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocation for scaffolding works. Coordinate with clients, engineers, safety teams, and subcontractors on project requirements. Review technical drawings and ensure alignment with project specifications. Operations & Execution Oversee installation, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding systems. Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance. Safety & Compliance Ensure scaffolding works comply with workplace safety and health regulations. Implement safe work procedures and conduct toolbox meetings. Ensure all workers hold valid certifications and training required for scaffolding operations. Team Leadership & Management Supervise and guide project supervisors, scaffold coordinators, and site personnel. Conduct performance evaluations and support workforce training and development. Resolve operational issues and ensure teamwork across departments. Budget & Reporting Prepare project budgets, cost monitoring, and progress reports. Manage procurement of scaffolding materials and liaise with suppliers. Report project status to senior management and ensure timely completion. Skills & Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent. Minimum 5-8 years experience in scaffolding or construction project management. Knowledge of scaffolding systems (Tube & Coupler, System Scaffold, etc.). Strong understanding of workplace safety standards (MOM WSH, ISO, or equivalent). Excellent planning, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in project management software and MS Office. Certifications (Preferred): Scaffold Supervisor / Scaffold Coordinator Certificate Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) Workplace Safety & Health related certification
