Position Summary

 

We are seeking a motivated Project Management Intern with an interest in IT Infrastructure projects and project management practices. The intern will support the project management team in tracking, monitoring, and coordinating multiple IT infrastructure projects using industry-standard project management methodologies aligned with PMI/PMP standards.
The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure project documentation is complete, project milestones are tracked, risks and issues are monitored, and project governance requirements are met.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Assist Project Managers in planning, tracking, and monitoring IT infrastructure projects.
  • Maintain project schedules, timelines, and milestone tracking reports.
  • Follow up with project stakeholders to collect project updates and action items.
  • Support the preparation, review, and maintenance of project documentation in accordance with PMP project management standards.
  • Ensure project artifacts such as project charters, meeting minutes, risk logs, issue logs, action trackers, and status reports are completed and up to date.
  • Track project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation actions.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly project status reports and dashboards.
  • Coordinate project meetings, document meeting outcomes, and follow up on action items.
  • Assist in maintaining project governance and compliance requirements.
  • Support portfolio-level reporting and project tracking activities across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams responsible for servers, networks, cloud platforms, security, and data center operations.

 

Requirements

 

Education and Experience

 

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Project Management, or related disciplines.

 

Skills and Knowledge 

 

  • Basic understanding of IT Infrastructure concepts, including Servers and Data Centers, Network Infrastructure, Information Security, and IT Operations.
  • Understanding of project management concepts and project lifecycle.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
