We are looking for a driven professional to join our team as a Project Management & Business Development Executive. This is a dual focused role where you will split your time between growing our business finding new project opportunities and building partnerships and supporting the smooth delivery of our ongoing renewable energy projects. You'll work across teams, engage with clients and partners, and help move projects from ideation to project implementation.
Job Responsibilities:
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities in the biogas and organic waste-to-energy sector in the APAC market.
- Research APAC market trends, monitor government policies, incentives and regulations relevant to renewable energy and waste management.
- Prepare business proposals, feasibility studies and tender responses.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, investors, technology partners and local authorities.
- Track competitor activity and identify emerging opportunities in the industry.
- Assess and incorporate project finance considerations including IRR targets, CapEx requirements and funding structures into initial lead qualification and opportunity mapping.
Project Management & Coordination
- Support the planning and coordination of biogas projects from early development through to construction and handover.
- Act as the central point of contact between internal teams, external consultants, and contractors.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and milestones using project management tools.
- Identify potential risks (e.g. economic, environmental, etc.) early and work with the team to resolve issues before they escalate.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and to the required quality standards.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or project coordination, preferably within renewable energy, waste management, or environmental services
- An undergraduate degree or master's in engineering (Environmental, Chemical, or Civil), Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration or a related field.
- Basic understanding of how biogas systems work deep technical expertise is not required.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with corporate and regulatory stakeholders.
- Commercially minded with the ability to identify business opportunities.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
