Project Logistics / Breakbulk- Key account Manager
Our client, a logistics company with diversified logistics products including project logistics is seeking to fill above role :-
. Develop, commercial action plans to secure new clients base in breakbulk and general cargoes segment
. Manage clients unique project logistics needs assessment, client processing mapping, and develop quantifiable and value add program recommendations.
. Servicing customer base within the target industries and targeted countries
. Extending presence to new targeted accounts and developing long term win-win strategic relationship.
. Response to RFQ/ Tenders and take a key lead in coordinating with customer service and operation department to develop customised solutions and tender package.
. Generate competitive quotes through competitive pricing and operations plan.
. Manage good relationship with carriers, 3PL project logistics vendors and overseas agent to augment profitability and maximise service delivery.
. Periodic pricing review with internal and external parties
Requirements
. Degree holder with minimum 2 years sales / customer service / commercial experience in freight forwarder / logistics industry preferably in project logistics capacity. (Oil and Gas industry)
. Candidates with regional commercial experience highly preferred. Someone who is adept at building strategic customer relationship over the region.
. Dynamic, self motivating with a positive can do mindset. A confident personality with successful track record in initiating and managing projects in a matrix environment.
. Ability to engage with key corporate clients.
. Experience in logistical demands and patterns of key industries specifically the Energy and Oil and Gas verticals
. Good market knowledge and client networking with Oil and Gas and project logistics providers.
. Pro-active, strong business acumen and result-oriented.
