We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially driven Project Finance Controller to oversee the financial performance, reporting, and controls of project-based operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong finance/accounting background with hands-on experience in project accounting, budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and stakeholder management within a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor project financial performance including revenue recognition, cost tracking, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Prepare and analyse project profitability reports, variance analysis, WIP reports, and financial dashboards.
• Ensure accurate project accounting in compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies.
• Manage monthly project close activities including accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Track project costs against approved budgets and identify financial risks, cost overruns, and improvement opportunities.
• Support tender pricing, project budgeting, and financial modelling for new business opportunities.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, external auditors, clients, and vendors on finance-related matters.
• Strengthen internal controls, governance, and compliance across project finance processes.
• Support management reporting, audit requirements, and ad hoc financial analysis.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in project finance, project accounting, cost control, or finance controllership.
• Strong understanding of project-based accounting and percentage-of-completion/revenue recognition concepts.
• Experience working in industries such as engineering, construction, offshore & marine, oil & gas, EPC, infrastructure, or manufacturing is advantageous.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
