Job Summary
Our client, a global bank is seeking an experienced Project Finance professional to join the team and support the origination, structuring and execution of project finance transactions across infrastructure, energy and other key sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate and develop project finance opportunities with corporate clients, sponsors and project developers.
- Structure and execute project finance transactions, including greenfield and brownfield projects.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, including financial modelling, cash flow projections, debt sizing, sensitivity analysis and returns assessment.
- Evaluate project risks across commercial, financial, legal, technical, regulatory and environmental aspects.
- Prepare credit proposals, investment papers and transaction materials for internal approval.
- Lead or support negotiations on key financing terms, including facility structure, pricing, tenor, security and financial covenants.
- Coordinate due diligence with legal, technical, insurance, tax and other external advisers.
- Manage transaction execution from initial mandate through financial close and subsequent portfolio management.
- Maintain strong relationships with project sponsors, borrowers, investors, lenders and other stakeholders.
- Monitor existing project finance portfolios, including financial performance, covenant compliance and emerging credit risks.
- Stay abreast of developments across infrastructure, energy, renewables, utilities and other relevant sectors.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in project finance, structured finance, infrastructure finance, corporate banking or investment banking.
- Strong understanding of project finance structures, credit analysis and financial modelling.
- Demonstrated experience in originating, structuring and/or executing project finance transactions.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to assess complex project cash flows and risks.
- Good understanding of loan documentation, security structures and financing terms.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Commercially minded, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Experience across infrastructure, renewable energy, power, utilities, transport or other real assets would be advantageous.
