Job Description

About the role:

The Project Executive supports the planning, coordination, and execution of projects within the Company's retail malls and commercial properties. This role assists in managing Tenancy feasibility studies, refurbishment projects, and AEI while ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with safety and local regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate should be resourceful, proactive, and comfortable working in a lean team where initiative and ownership are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing project works across the Company's properties.
  • Support the implementation of AEI, refurbishment, upgrading, reinstatement, and CAPEX projects.
  • Assist in the development, review, and periodic enhancement of the company's Tenancy Design Guidelines.
  • Review tenants design submissions and provide practical, innovative, and commercially viable design solutions to ensure compliance with design standards and timely fit-out completion.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, tenants, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Monitor project schedules, progress, quality, costs, and compliance with project specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is carried out in accordance with approved plans, safety requirements, and quality standards.
  • Track project timelines and highlight potential risks, delays, or issues, proposing practical solutions where necessary.
  • Review contractors work progress and ensure timely rectification of defects.
  • Assist in obtaining quotations, evaluating proposals, preparing purchase requisitions, and administering project documentation.
  • Verify work completion, progress claims, variation orders, and supporting documents before submission for approval.
  • Maintain proper project records, reports, drawings, permits, warranties, manuals, and close-out documentation.
  • Participate in project meetings and prepare meeting minutes, progress updates, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Support any other duties assigned.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Environmental Design, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in tenancy design management, retail interior design, or fit-out coordination. Good understanding of retail design principles, construction processes, and tenancy fit-out requirements. Good team player with creativity and is meticulous.
  • Tenancy, AEI and Construction knowledge.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; familiarity with other photo editing or design software is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) practices and Singapore building regulations is preferred.
