Role Overview
We are looking for a Project ExecutionManager to lead on-site execution and delivery of marine HVAC projects. Thisrole focuses on on-site execution and delivery, covering installation,commissioning, and final handover, with strong emphasis on site presence andhands-on execution capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of on-site execution and project delivery (schedule, quality, and safety)
- Take full ownership and lead installation activities for both ducting systems and equipment installation
- Coordinate and follow up on duct fabrication and delivery to ensure timely supply in line with site requirements
- Plan, manage, and control site activities, including workforce and subcontractors
- Develop, implement, and control daily and weekly work plans, ensuring proper manpower deployment and material readiness to meet site execution requirements
- Track, manage, and close site issues in a timely manner to avoid delays and rework
- Ensure consistent and efficient daily site execution through proactive planning, coordination, and follow-up
- Drive project progress and resolve on-site technical and installation issues
- Lead full system commissioning, including pre-commissioning checks, air balancing, system and integrated testing, ensuring successful project handover
- Liaise with shipyards, clients, and stakeholders on site-related matters
- Coordinate and align internal teams (engineering, duct fabrication, procurement, and equipment teams) to ensure smooth execution and timely project delivery
- Monitor and control site costs, material usage, execution efficiency, and rework, and proactively address deviations to ensure project targets are met
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports, tracking planned vs actual progress, manpower deployment, material status, and key issues to ensure effective project control.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in marine HVAC / M&E installation / ducting systems
- Hands-on experience in shipyard or site-based project execution
- Familiar with HVAC installation and commissioning processes
- Exposure to HVAC air balancing / system commissioning is an advantage
- Strong execution and problem-solving skills
- Willing and able to be based on-site at shipyards for extended periods
- Able to travel as required.
