Job Description

Role Purpose

This role oversees the full lifecycle of formal 3D model reviews-planning, coordination, execution, and close‑out-across all model zones with both client and internal stakeholders. As a senior project‑engineering function, the position ensures reviews are scheduled in alignment with project milestones, the right participants are engaged, comments are properly documented with clear ownership, and all issues are resolved promptly to keep construction activities moving without interruption.

Job Responsibilities

Model Review Planning & Scheduling

  • Develop, maintain, and execute the master schedule for model reviews across all buildings and zones.
  • Ensure every Model Zone completes three structured review cycles aligned with construction sequencing and design‑freeze milestones.

Review Facilitation & Coordination

  • Lead and chair review meetings, ensuring clear objectives, focused discussions, and actionable outcomes.
  • Confirm participation of all required stakeholders-including client representatives and discipline leads (MEP, Process, Space Management, Architecture, CSA).
  • Ensure all model files (Revit, Navisworks NWD/NWC, viewpoints) are prepared, validated, and published before each review.
  • Collaborate with BIM, Space Management, and Discipline Leads to verify readiness against agreed review criteria.

Issue Management & Follow‑Through

  • Drive structured logging of all review comments and issues.
  • Assign owners, track due dates, follow up proactively, and ensure closure before subsequent review cycles.
  • Provide weekly progress updates covering risks, comment status, delays, and bottlenecks.
  • Escalate priority conflicts, delays, or resource constraints impacting review completion or construction readiness.

Stakeholder Engagement & Governance

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client regarding all matters related to model reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with BEP requirements, ISO 19650 standards, Navisworks/ACC workflows, and document management protocols.
  • Coordinate closely with Design/Engineering Management, Project Controls, Construction, and Document Control to maintain alignment with overall project execution.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records-minutes, decision logs, comment registers, and approval documentation.

Continuous Improvement & Team Support

  • Contribute to improving model review methodologies, templates, and workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce recurring issues.
  • Support onboarding of new team members in review processes and digital tools (Navisworks, ACC/BIM 360, DMCS/Bluebeam, etc.).
  • Provide inputs to risk registers, change assessments, and schedule‑impact analyses when model‑related issues affect downstream activities.
  • Demonstrate strong professional conduct and leadership presence-able to influence senior technical stakeholders and drive accountability.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years experience in EPC/EPCM or complex industrial projects (semiconductor, life sciences, data centers), with senior exposure in Space Management, Mechanical, or Process disciplines.
  • Demonstrated leadership in structured review management, RFI/issue coordination, and multi‑discipline interface management with clients.
  • Strong working knowledge of BIM/VDC delivery, including Revit (authoring), Navisworks (clash detection and review), Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360 (issues, packages, transmittals), and familiarity with ISO 19650 information management frameworks (Ref: SG BEP/SOP).
