Role Summary
Responsible for managing data center operations and project execution, including power infrastructure, cooling systems (CRAC), UPS, and vendor coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee data centre operations, installation, testing & commissioning (CRAC, UPS, batteries)
- Monitor power infrastructure, temperature, humidity, and performance
- Troubleshoot faults and coordinate with vendors for repairs
- Manage project schedules, progress, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards
- Handle vendor management and customer training
- Support maintenance, monitoring, and system performance optimization
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Mechanical / Piping Engineering or related
- 5+ years experience in piping / industrial / infrastructure projects
- Experience in Data Centers, Oil & Gas, Power Plants, or Industrial Facilities preferred
Technical Skills
- Tools: AutoCAD, Revit, Plant 3D, Caesar II, Navisworks
- Knowledge of pipe stress, fluid dynamics, thermal expansion
- Familiar with ASME, API, ANSI, NFPA standards
- Experience in welding, material selection, and NDT
