PROJECT ENGINEER

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage project planning, budgeting and resources identification, deployment and control.
• Manage and monitor project's progress to ensure timely completion of work.
• Maintain strict adherence to budget guidelines.
• Ensure compliance to quality and safety standards for all site activities.
• Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, relevant authorities and subcontractors / suppliers.
• Conduct site investigations, geological analysis, design development, and supervision of tunnelling activities.
• . Provide engineering supervision to bored tunnelling operation, including final ring selection and selection of key.
• Determine any non-conformances on works
• Liaise with Contractor to rectify any non-conformances and document them properly
• Ensure that decisions on site issues are conveyed to the Contractor within a reasonable time frame.
• Ensure that works are carried out according to specifications, drawings and programme without compromising on quality and safety
• Supervise installation of instrumentation and monitoring of instrumentation
• Lead a team of supervisors to ensure full time supervision of works on site by supervisor /client

Job Requirement

• Minimum Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering
• Minimum 4 years relevant experience in project/construction environment
• Proficient in relevant software programmers for planning and project work
• Pro-active team player with good analytical and communication skills
• Required to have at least 2 years of viaduct and/or flyover construction / Tunnel experience
