Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and detailed-oriented Project Engineer to support our Project Director. Responsible for the assigned or related project tasks and responsibilities.
- To review project specifications and technical clarifications
- Monitor and manage daily project operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion
- To prepare method statements and check drawing discrepancies
- To carry out project planning, design, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation
- Attend regular progress and coordination meetings and ensure works remain on schedule.
- To supervise the construction works and coordinate with client's representatives, consultants and sub-contractors on technical matters
- To target and ensure timely and smooth progress of works
- Prepare and submit progress reports and documentation to management.
- To ensure quality of works is achieved and safety & environmental regulations are complied with
- To ensure project activities complied with the Company's ISO system
- Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time
Job Requirements
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or its equivalent (recognized by BCA, PE Board)
- Diploma/Professional Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
- Minimum 3 - 5 years experience working inconstruction industry
- AutoCAD/BIM/ Revit Knowledge will be an advantage.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office and familiar with Microsoft Project.
- Good communicative skills, able to interact with people of all levels and teamwork
- Self-motivated and able to perform effectively under pressure
- Salary package commensurate with experience
