Project Engineer

Responsibility:

• Responsible for the execution of civil and structural design involving the preparation of calculations and review of structural design drawings in accordance to customers specifications, applicable codes, standards and other generally accepted practices.
• Participate in the preparation of construction plans and technical coordination for the structural part of the project management plan.
• Ensure site works are executed based on approved drawing, project requirement, schedule, safety & quality standard. Responsible for timely technical clarification of changes to engineering drawings and other technical documents.
• Organise the pre-inspection before formal acceptance. Coordinate and inspect with sub-contractor and consultant.
• Identify and solve problem areas that do not fulfil engineering and structure requirements.
• Project coordination including submission to local authorities and liaison during the construction stage.
• Coordinate, attend meetings, liaise with consultants, clients, etc.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and authorities on technical matters.
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Project Manager.

Requirement:

• Candidate must possess valid Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering. Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by Singapore IES / BCA and PE Board is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in Singapore construction industry. Candidate with HDB BTO experience is required.
• Experience in RC Structure, Facade or Steel Structure, Civil/ Infrastructure Projects.
• Good track records & working experience with local A1 / A2 main contractors preferred.
• Analytical, organized and possess strong planning skills.
• Excellent project and time management abilities.
