Project Engineer

Core responsibilities

. Check design discrepancies between Structural and architectural drawings

. Check formwork and reinforcement

. Follow-up on amendments on drawings and execution of variation works, such as additions and modifications

. Co-ordinate with the Project Team, Consultants and Sub Contractors for work progress.

. Prepare documents, reports, and coordinate site operations.

. Communicates and maintains public relations with relevant parties like Client's representative, local authorities, communities, and the general public.

. Prepare or compile site progress reports.

. Ensure all site activities comply with the authority/statutory requirements.

. Enforce safe work practices at the workplace

Job specifications

. Possess a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or Building Construction (recognized by BCA)

. Possess BCA supervisors safety certification

. At least 2 years of experience in a Site Engineer role within the construction industry
