Job Summary
You will supervise and coordinate site work for ACMV/M&E projects, liaising with contractors and consultants to ensure timely progress, quality control, and compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and program site activities to meet project timelines
- Supervise and coordinate site work to ensure smooth project execution
- Liaise and coordinate effectively with Main Contractors and Subcontractors
- Attend meetings with Main Contractors and consultants to align project goals
- Prepare, assist, and update monthly site progress reports and progress claims
- Revise and update shop drawings, as-built drawings, and operation & maintenance (O&M) documents
- Prepare and submit site safety documentation including Risk Assessments (RA) and Method of Statements (MOS)
- Conduct inspections with RTO and consultants to verify compliance and quality
- Communicate site matters and changes promptly to superiors
- Assist in certifying subcontractor progress claims to ensure accurate billing
- Maintain professional relationships with clients to support project success
- Monitor and request timely delivery of equipment and materials to avoid delays
- Lead team leaders in project execution, planning, and scheduling to optimize resources
- Resolve site technical issues related to coordination, installation, testing, and commissioning
- Perform any ad hoc duties assigned by superiors to support project needs
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma in engineering with minimum 3 years of ACMV/M&E working experience, OR
- Degree in relevant engineering with minimum 1 year of ACMV/M&E working experience
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Knowledge of ACMV/M&E design to enhance project understanding
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for preparing and revising technical drawings
- Excellent project management skills to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
- Strong oral and written communication skills to facilitate clear stakeholder engagement
- Good interpersonal, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills to address site challenges
- Confidence and assertiveness to lead teams and make decisions
- Willingness to learn and embrace new challenges
- Ability to work 5.5 days per week
