Job Description & Requirements
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and third-party vendors.
- Collaborate with the Bidding and Project Management teams to develop cost-effective and technically compliant work plans.
- Draft technical write-ups, method statements, and execution strategies tailored to the project scope.
- Prepare site progress report, monthly progress claim report, attend stakeholder meeting and participate in technical workshop discussion.
- Ensure installation works are carried out in compliance with the approved shop drawings, method statements, Project Quality Plan, project specifications, and applicable standards.
- Support the Site/Project Manager in overseeing and tracking project progress to ensure timely and quality execution.
- Monitor and coordinate with procurement officer and suppliers to ensure materials are delivered on time and in accordance with the project timeline.
- Maintain up-to-date records of marked-up drawings for accurate as-built documentation throughout the project.
- Record and track all materials received from suppliers and issued for installation to ensure proper inventory management.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by HOD.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in design and project management in Electrical discipline.
- Possess a degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and participate in large-scale projects and coordinating input from multiple departments.
- Strong knowledge of commercial and contract terms, with excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
- Possess safety certification such as BCSS and Safety Co-Ordinator.
- Knowledge in software tools such as CAD / BIM / P6 / Microsoft.
- A proactive team player with effective communication skills and a high level of business acumen in market development.
