Job Summary
We seek a motivated Project Engineer skilled in electrical and mechanical engineering to manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage electrical engineering projects from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines
- Develop and maintain project schedules, track progress against milestones, and adjust plans to meet deadlines
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and subcontractors to facilitate seamless project execution
- Perform technical analysis, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to inform project decisions
- Design and review electrical and mechanical systems, components, and layouts to meet project specifications
- Ensure all project activities comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations
- Troubleshoot and resolve project issues promptly to minimize impact on delivery
- Assist to prepare comprehensive project documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholder communication
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by contributing to the development and implementation of best practices
- Analyze project specifications thoroughly to ensure full compliance and feasibility
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in project management within electrical and mechanical engineering contexts
- Strong technical skills in electrical and mechanical systems design and analysis
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations
