Job Summary
The Project Engineer (Renovation) supports the planning, coordination, and execution of renovation projects. The role ensures that all renovation works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, safety requirements, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning and managing renovation works
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
- Supervise on-site renovation activities and ensure work quality
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and permits
- Monitor work progress and prepare progress reports
- Check materials and workmanship on site
- Resolve technical and site-related issues
- Ensure compliance with BCA regulations, building codes, and WSH requirements
- Attend site meetings and liaise with clients and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, or related field
- Experience in renovation or construction projects preferred
- Basic knowledge of Singapore renovation processes and approvals
- Ability to read construction and renovation drawings
- Proficient in AutoCAD or similar drafting software
- Basic project scheduling and documentation skills
