Job Summary
Lead and coordinate Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) project implementation from planning to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery. Collaborate with clients, consultants, and authorities to drive successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate engineering, drafting, contract documentation, procurement, and quality control activities to ensure effective project implementation
- Manage and monitor project progress to meet scheduled deadlines from inception to completion
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and government authorities to facilitate smooth project execution
- Review and approve permits to comply with regulatory requirements
- Conduct and attend on-site coordination and progress meetings to resolve issues and align stakeholders
- Oversee quality assurance, site safety operations, and efficient use of materials and equipment
- Assist in preparing tender documentation to support project bidding processes
- Support all other M&E-related tasks as required to maintain project continuity
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Process, or Industrial Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years experience in design, project management, or production planning of process equipment
- Proactive attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills to drive project success
- Strong spoken and written communication skills in English to ensure clear stakeholder engagement
- Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and production scheduling software
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Proficiency in Mandarin and other languages beneficial for client and stakeholder communication
- Focus on quality and delivering value to the company and clients
Other Information
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm alternate Saturdays, 9:00am to 1:00pm
