Brief Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with expertise in Electrical Engineering to oversee various aspects of electrical project execution. This role focuses on technical assessments, project monitoring, and ensuring compliance with specifications.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Electrical Detail Engineering work related to electrical load, transformer, and MCC sizing. Perform short circuit calculations and transient load studies, including motor acceleration and protection relay coordination. Manage material take-off, procurement, and layout design for electrical installations. Assess and monitor progress claims from subcontractors. Ensure all aspects of installation, testing, and monitoring comply with current specifications and codes of practice. Execute quality checks to verify that products align with customer expectations and requirements. Prepare operation and maintenance manuals following project completion. Coordinate with other trades concerning power requirements and participate in electrical design activities. Contribute to technical coordination and progress meetings with clients. Read and interpret electrical drawings effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, preferably in Electrical Power. Relevant experience in electrical engineering is advantageous. Proficiency in AutoCAD and basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines effectively.
