Job Summary

As a Project Engineer at JTech Automation, you will lead multiple automation projects and oversee daily operations to drive operational excellence and support sustainable business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to ensure timely project delivery and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage engineering, production, procurement, and logistics operations to ensure seamless project execution and operational efficiency.

  • Update project schedules and prepare monthly project status reports.

  • Oversee project timelines, allocate resources effectively, manage budgets, and track delivery milestones to meet client expectations.

  • Develop, implement, and refine operational workflows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance productivity and quality.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for cost control, efficiency improvement, and quality enhancement.

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met and customer satisfaction is achieved.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

  • Provide technical guidance and resolve operational and engineering challenges to maintain project momentum.

  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by management.

    Preferred Competencies and Qualifications

    • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in operations or project management, preferably within the automation, machinery, or manufacturing industries.

    • Proven leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.

    • Proficient in project management tools, reporting systems, and operational performance metrics.

    • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

    • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.

    • Hands-on mindset with the ability to build and optimize operational systems.

    • Experience in lean manufacturing and process automation is an advantage.

    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
