We are looking for a technically-driven Project Engineer (Electrical) to manage projects. This role is designed for a specialist with experience of Low Voltage (LV) systems-including switchgears, transformers, and power distribution units.
You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from initial Tender Management and cost estimation through to on-site installation and final commissioning.
End-to-End Project Oversight: Manage and oversee assigned electrical projects, ensuring all site execution is in accordance with approved drawings and project schedules.
LV Equipment Specialist: Act as the technical lead for Low Voltage (LV) switchgear, distribution boards, and related power systems-ensuring equipment is inspected and installed to spec.
Tender & Bid Management: Prepare and manage the tendering process, including material take-offs, cost estimation, and the preparation of technical proposals.
Resource & Material Control: Requisition labor, materials, and equipment coordinate with purchasing to ensure timely delivery while minimizing site wastage.
Sub-contractor & Site Supervision: Monitor sub-contractor performance, conduct quality checks, and ensure strict adherence to safety practices and technical specifications.
Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the key point of contact for customers, consultants, and statutory authorities regarding progress and work acceptance.
Contract Administration: Manage the financial health of the project, including progress claims, variations (VOs), and final accounts.
The Must-Have: Proven project experience specifically with Low Voltage (LV) Electrical Equipment (Switchgear, Transformers, DBs).
The Value-Add: Prior experience working on Data Center projects or Tier-rated infrastructure is highly preferred.
Education & Experience:
Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 1 year of relevant experience OR Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Technical Mastery: Proficient in AutoCAD and able to read/interpret complex Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach to prioritizing tasks and analyzing project data.
