Project Engineer (Network Infrastructure)

Job Responsibilities:

. Be part of the client's project management team to deliver projects involving the deployment of core network infrastructure and related systems.

. Coordinate project works with users and vendors such as requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, testing and support.

. Review project deliverables from vendors to ensure completeness and adherence to the required quality and standard.

. Facilitate routine clearances, meetings and site surveys.

Job Requirements:

. Diploma in Computer science / IT / Engineering or equivalent.

. At least 3 years of working experience with comprehensive understanding of networking, network equipment and related systems.

. Working knowledge of firewall, switches, routers, DNS, DHCP, NTP configuration, TCP/IP networking, etc.

. Have experience in project coordination from design to implementation, testing & support.

. Ability to diagnose and resolve network access problem and perform network troubleshooting.

. Prior working experience in defence organisations or government ministries requiring security clearance is highly preferred.

. Certified in network/system expertise (e.g. CCNA, ITIL, etc).

. Good written and verbal communication skills.
