Job Summary
Plan and coordinate electrical project activities at substations, ensuring safety compliance and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. Lead inspection, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment while preparing technical documentation and progress reports to support project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement detailed work schedules and method statements to drive timely electrical maintenance and project execution at substations
- Supervise site works to enforce strict adherence to safety procedures and regulatory standards
- Coordinate effectively with project managers, supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors to align project objectives and resolve operational challenges
- Conduct thorough inspection, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment to verify functionality and compliance with technical requirements
- Prepare comprehensive technical documents and progress reports to communicate project status and facilitate decision-making
- Interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications to guide maintenance and project activities accurately
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in electrical or power system projects
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience working in high voltage substations to enhance operational effectiveness
- Proficiency with Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) projects or maintenance to support specialized equipment handling
- Familiarity with equipment from Hyosung Heavy Industries or other high-voltage switchgear manufacturers to optimize maintenance and troubleshooting
