Job Scope
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules and budgets for mechanical machine layout
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to complete projects on time and within budget
- Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and communicate status updates to stakeholders
- Provide technical expertise and problem-solving support to the project team
- Ensure projects comply with relevant engineering standards, regulations and safety protocols
- Responsible for the final compilation and verification of all documents necessary to transition a finalized order into manufacturing. This includes, but is not limited to, generating and approving engineering Bills of Materials (BOMs) for production systems and releasing final assembly schematics and drawings.
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers and other project partners to deliver successful outcomes
- Developing and reviewing complex, order-specific calculations.
- Ensuring the technical feasibility and accuracy of custom product or service configurations during the pre-contract and proposal development phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical engineering project management
- Strong understanding of mechanical design, manufacturing and assembly processes
- Proficient in project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
