Research, design, and develop new circuits, technology, modules, and devices
Strategise on architectural and electronic designs, product pipelines, and new potential technology and devices
Identify, analyse, recommend, and develop next-generation improvements for existing circuits, technology, modules, and devices
Conduct evaluations and recommend modifications on existing designs and prototypes based on performance in quality test and customer feedback
Ensure reliable and consistent performance and function of existing designs for circuits, technology, modules, and devices in operating environments
Perform circuit analysis, run simulations, create schematic drawing and PCB layouts, and produce wiring programs using respective softwares
Design, develop, and execute testing and investigation methods / procedures for circuits, technology, modules, and devices with the use of Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
Prepare engineering sketches and specifications, design and test documentation, product specification or Bill of Materials (BOM), and product development timeline
Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure design manufacturability and testability
Keep updated on technology and regulation development
Requirements:
Good understanding of electrical engineering codes, electronic systems, component materials and safety standards
Possess hands-on experience using design and calculation software
Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptualisation ability
Strong interest in technology
Ability to think outside the box and manage complexity
Strong team player and customer-oriented with strong interpersonal and communications skills
Proactive, enthusiastic with can do attitude
Meticulous, self-reliant and strong sense of urgency
Committed, motivated and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
