Project Engineer (Manufacturing)

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Business Development Director in managing program-related matters and communications.
• Coordinate with tooling and assembly equipment suppliers to ensure smooth and timely program launches.
• Collaborate with the production team to improve workflows and optimize production layouts for greater machine efficiency.
• Source and compile quotations for tooling, components, and packaging during new project startup phases.
• Prepare new part quotations and support packaging requirements for production.
• Support the production and quality teams in troubleshooting issues related to plastic part processing and quality.
• Track and monitor project timelines, engineering changes, and key program activities to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with customers and respond to inquiries professionally.
• Update and manage tooling activities, Bills of Materials (BOM), and project documentation.
• Follow up on engineering changes and ensure they are accurately reflected in tooling and documentation.
• Coordinate mold trials and ensure feedback is captured and addressed.
• Define functional requirements and work with suppliers on jigs, fixtures, and other secondary process tooling.
• Prepare and submit periodic tool-life reports to customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support ongoing project and operational needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering/ related courses.
• Minimum 3 years of related working experience
