Project Engineer/ Manager – Power Protection Solutions/ UPS

We are seeking a Project Engineer / Project Manager to support the delivery of M&E projects within a leading power systems engineering and solutions company. This role is ideal for candidates who are technically inclined, detail-oriented, and enjoy managing project execution, coordination, and site activities to ensure smooth delivery from design through to completion.

Project Engineer

Job Scope:

• Oversee and manage project installation and engineering works, including personnel mobilization and work progress

• Coordinate with customers, consultants, main/sub-contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project implementation

• Manage site activities, vendors, and subcontractors to achieve project milestones and timely delivery

• Plan, supervise, and control project operations, including cost estimates, manpower planning, and work schedules

• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and building owners throughout project execution

• Monitor project progress and report operational updates and issues on a monthly basis

Project Manager

Job Scope:

• Manage projects from design, submission, procurement, construction, to final handover

• Plan and coordinate project activities to ensure quality, cost, and schedule objectives are achieved

• Identify contractual issues and manage commercial, technical, and site-related risks

• Collaborate closely with internal teams including Business Development, Tender, Cost Control, and Service

• Oversee conceptual studies, design development, procurement, and project planning activities

• Manage subcontractors for construction, installation, testing, and commissioning works

• Supervise M&E and building works to ensure proper execution on site

• Liaise with consultants, data centre owners, and building landlords to meet mission-critical requirements

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or a related discipline).

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management with a contractor or consultancy background

• Experience in greenfield and brownfield projects, including interior A&A and fit-out works

• PMP certification will be an advantage

• Certified Data Centre Professional certification will be an advantage

• Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities to handle complex engineering calculations.
