Your duties shall cover but not restricted to the following:
- Provide technical expertise to support end-to-end project management, from tender estimation, project scoping, sub-contractor selection, drawing submissions, on-site project execution, to testing & commissioning and project handover
- Coordinate the procurement and delivery of materials and subcontractor services as per project plan
- Supervise and ensure ongoing works on-site are on track according to project schedule
- Prepare M&E Combined Service Drawings (CSD) to facilitate effective site coordination with all project stakeholders
- Prepare Power Interruption Plan (PIP) for project involving live systems, including effective communication of work procedure to all project stakeholders
- Preparing project progress reports for director, consultants and clients
- Attend site surveys, coordination meetings with consultants, sub-contractors and any relevant authorities
- Prepare payment claims and variation orders for project contracts
- Provide emergency response for fault tracing and troubleshooting as and when required at client sites
- Ensure adherence to and enforce Bizsafe work safety methods, RA, MOS, procedures and policies regarding all site activities
Requirements
- Hardworking and positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility, willingness to learn
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or Diploma with work experience
- Good written and spoken English
- Candidates with prior working experience in the construction industry will have a strong advantage
- Ability to multitask is important, as engineer will be expected to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Basic knowledge in Microsoft Project and CAD will be useful
