Job Description

Koizumi Lighting Singapore Pte Ltd

An established Japanese lighting manufacturer.

In Singapore, we specialise in the supply and installation of lighting systems for commercial and turnkey projects.

The role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to,

1) Project Management & Coordination

  • Coordinate and monitor project progress from award to successful completion.
  • Monitor project schedules, progress, quality, and budgets.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
  • Attend site meetings, inspections, and project coordination meetings.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, installation works, and project documentation.
  • Prepare progress claims, variation order (VO) quotations, and project close-out documentation.
  • Ensure project works are carried out in compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements and Company safety procedures.
  • Promote safe work practices and coordinate with subcontractors to maintain a safe working environment.

2) Tendering & Costing

  • Prepare tenders, quotations, and cost estimates.
  • Review tender documents, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Source and compare products, pricing, and suppliers.
  • Prepare technical submissions, compliance documents and value-engineering proposals.

3) Technical Support

  • Provide technical advice and recommend suitable lighting solutions.
  • Assist in resolving technical, operational, and site-related issues.
  • Source and compare products, pricing, and suppliers.
  • Provide technical support during project implementation and the Defects Liability Period (DLP).

4) General Duties

  • Support the Project Manager in project-related tasks.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Well-organised, responsible, and willing to learn.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Committed to maintaining high standards of Workplace Safety &Health (WSH), with possession of the required WSH certifications for site work.
  • Training on products, project management, and industry practices will be provided.
