Project Engineer

What you'll be doing

• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to plan, coordinate and execute construction activities on site

• Monitor and ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations

• Conduct site inspections, document progress, and report any issues or deviations to the project management team

• Assist in the preparation of construction schedules, method statements, and other project documentation

• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services

• Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team, resolving any problems that arise

• Participate in project meetings and liaise with clients to address their concerns and requirements

What we're looking for

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Site Engineer in the civil/structural engineering industry

• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve construction challenges

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the project team and stakeholders

• Thorough understanding of construction methods, safety protocols, and quality management principles

• Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices
