PROJECT ENGINEER

Job Description & Requirements:

Responsible for organizing, preparing & executing work package for the turnaround activities of static equipment and piping replacement.

 Study the project requirement, specification, scope of work and scope supply and other requirements stated.

 Attending periodical meeting with contractor to discuss on the engineering clarification and engineering status

. Technical query:.Piping installation document & drawing status (isometric drawings, P&ID's, piping GA's, etc.) 

Review and check the piping design documents such as P&ID, piping isometrics, piping general arrangement drawing and piping support details.

 Ensures the implementation and adherence of project specifications and procedures.

 Preparing the tendering package to float out vendors. 

Planning, execution and monitoring of contractor routine and non-routine project activities and perform troubleshooting or provide guidance where issues arise..  Prioritized scope activities to meet project schedule requirements efficiently.  Project the piping and mechanical progress measurement and review of contractor invoices in conjunction with site cost control department.  Monitoring the project ensure the quality of piping fabrications, installation, and hydrostatic testing in accordance with the codes and standard.  Resolve problems encountered and manage the coordination between the different trades. Prepare the material list depicting all the materials, sizes, specification, special requirements, testing requirements to meet the design. This document shall be used as an input for a procurement team.  Continuously update project drawings and documents to final as-built status.  Involved in job completion and PSSR walk down with contractor to clear punch.
