Job Title: Project Engineer
About Us:
Our client is an established multinational engineering and manufacturing organization is seeking a Project Engineer to drive new product introduction programs from concept through production.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with customers, suppliers, engineering, quality and supply chain teams to successfully launch innovative products while balancing performance, quality, cost and delivery objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional projects supporting new product introduction and product industrialization activities
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved
- Monitor project timelines, costs, quality requirements and supply continuity
- Support supplier selection, qualification and relationship management activities
- Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining product performance and quality standards
- Identify and mitigate supply chain and manufacturing risks
- Support product lifecycle management, including component changes and obsolescence planning
- Contribute to continuous improvement and strategic business initiatives
Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related discipline
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, project management or product industrialization environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Commercial awareness with interest in cost management and supplier engagement
- Comfortable working with customers, suppliers and cross-functional teams
- Willingness to travel when required
