Role: Project Engineer - Integrated Building Management Systems
Job Summary:
We're seeking a integrated BMS (Building Management Systems) Engineer and Power Monitoring sytem to join our team. As a iBMS Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, installing, commissioning, and maintaining building management systems that optimize energy efficiency, safety, and comfort in commercial and industrial buildings. Be a key player and exert your impact to accelerate built environment's transition in digitalisation and AI adoption to improve operations and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement iBMS/BMS/PME solutions for various building types
- Install, commission and test iBMS/BMS/PME systems complete with IoT sensors
- Troubleshoot and resolve iBMS/BMS/PME system issues
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on iBMS/BMS/PME systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other building systems
- Develop and implement iBMS/BMS/PME system upgrades and improvements
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards
Requirements:
- Diploma or Higher NITEC in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Strong knowledge of building automation systems, HVAC (chillers, AHUs, fan coils, etc.) , electrical systems
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in BMS engineering, preferably with experience in BACnet, Modbus, MQTT or other BMS protocols
- Experience with BMS/iBMS software such as Schneider Electric's StruxureWare, Johnson Controls Metasys, or Siemens Desigo
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python, industrial PLC (ladder logic or structured programming) is an advantage but not mandatory
