We are one of the largest one-stop Underground Utilities Infrastructure companies based in Singapore. We provide Underground Utilities Infrastructure construction and maintenance, sewer pipeline rehabilitation, road and airfield construction and maintenance as well as asphalt pre-mix production and construction waste recycling.
RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support our utilities and civil projects. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and on schedule. You will coordinate resources, manage project documentation, and liaise with teams, clients, and subcontractors to keep work progressing smoothly. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, handles priorities effectively, and is committed to delivering high-quality results.
- Prepare detailed project plans covering all phases of the project.
- Ensure that projects are proceeding according to the project schedule/plan.
- Plan and monitor the resources, sub-contractors and materials required for the project and liaise with respective departments.
- Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and closely liaise with operation team to meet the project milestones.
- Responsible in preparing documentation including daily reports, monthly progress reports, method statements and work procedures required for the works.
- Responsible in overseeing drawing management and make sure the updated drawings are circulated to client, consultant, subcontractors and site team on time.
- Assist the project manager and other discipline engineers in coordinating the project related matters with project consultant.
- Record the potential commercial impacts such as delaying events, additional works, etc. and alert the project manager.
- Coordinate and work closely with safety personnel to ensure all government and safety regulation are complied.
- Conduct weekly or monthly meeting with sub-contractors to update the progress of work.
- Able to work independently in a fast paced environment and able to handle multi-task and ad-hoc assignments.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department or senior management in line with business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, recognized by the Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction or civil engineering those with experience in underground utilities especially HDD, 66kV, 230kV, or 400kV will be advantageous
- Strong skills in project coordination and site supervision with a practical, hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, clients, and consultants.
- Possession of a valid Class 2 or Class 3 driving licence will be an added advantage to support site mobility.
