The Project Engineer's scope shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
Review project submissions (e.g. specifications, drawings, test procedures, method statements) and follow up with the project team to ensure compliance with project requirements
Supervise on-site installation, testing and commissioning, interface coordination, integration testing, rectification of defects, and handover activities to ensure work quality meets project requirements
Coordinate with the project team, contractors, interfacing contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve site issues and clashes, ensuring alignment with project requirements
Monitor project schedules, track progress, and support reporting to ensure delivery aligns with the project timeline
Attend project, coordination, and interface meetings to ensure project delivery remains on track
Support overall project management activities to ensure timely and successful completion
Recognized diploma or degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, or related discipline)
Relevant project management experience, including:
At least 3 years of experience in project coordination, site installation, testing, and commissioning of rail E&M systems within Singapore's transit environment
Experience coordinating and interfacing with local transit stakeholders (e.g. railway or transit operators) for A&A works, system upgrades, or new system implementation at operational stations
Experience in Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system upgrades, relocation, or migration projects within a transit environment will be an advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office and design review tools such as AutoCAD, BIM, or similar software
Highly motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently
Strong teamwork and collaborative mindset
Willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts or engineering hours when required
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Willingness to travel regularly between office and project sites
