About the Company
Our client is an engineering and construction-related company operating for more than 40 years and is involved in project delivery, site coordination, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from planning through completion, ensuring delivery is safe, timely, within budget, and aligned with quality requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review engineering drawings, project specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for project planning and execution.
- Prepare and update AutoCAD drawings, shop drawings, layout drawings, and technical documentation.
- Monitor project schedules, fabrication progress, material deliveries, and on-site installation activities.
- Attend sitemeetings, conduct site inspections, and coordinate testing,commissioning, and project handover activities.
- Prepare projectsubmissions, including payment claims, variation orders, as-builtdrawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and progress reports.
- Maintain accurateproject documentation, records, engineering files, safety documents,and quality-related submissions.
- Coordinate with certification bodies and support project compliance, safety, and quality requirements.
- Provide technical support to customers and internal project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Diploma Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of project engineering experience in the construction, building services, engineering, or related industries.
- Candidates without direct construction experience may be considered if they have a relevant engineering background, are willing to undergo training, and are comfortable working on construction sites.
- Experience with site coordination, project documentation, contractor coordination, or project execution is preferred.
- Able to interpret engineering drawings and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with project documentation processes.
- Possess a motorcycle licence, as travel to construction sites may be required.
- Willing and able to work an alternate 5.5-day work week in the eastern region, with regular site-based duties and project coordination activities.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently while managing multiple project stakeholders.
