Project Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities:

. Review project specifications, authority requirements, technical submissions, and construction drawings.

. Assist the Project / Construction Manager in the day-to-day supervision of site works, ensuring works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.

. Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site teams to achieve quality standards, smooth workflow, and timely project completion.

. Plan, monitor, and update construction schedules, material procurement, and site activities to meet project milestones.

. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, progress reports, and handover documentation.

. Liaise with consultants, clients, and relevant authorities on design, construction, and quality matters.

. Coordinate closely with Structural, Architectural, M&E, and BIM teams to resolve technical and coordination issues.

. Perform QA/QC duties for assigned works, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

. Ensure full compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and MOM requirements on site, including safety inspections and implementation of safe work practices.

. Support cost control, variation works, and contract administration where required.

. Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

. Recognized Degree in Civil Engineering.

. Minimum 2 years of working experience in the public and private residential, government and commercial building projects.

. Possess technical knowledge related to structural, architectural (finishing) or M&E works.

. Candidates with a passion to work in construction industry are welcome.

. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

. Excellent team player with ability to meet tight deadlines.

Working hours:

Mon to Fri 8am - 5pm

Alternate Sat 8am - 5pm
