We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Project Engineer to join our team in the construction sector. This role is critical in supporting the successful delivery of construction projects through effective planning, coordination, and execution oversight.
The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, hands-on experience in system solution design and commissioning, and the ability to manage both technical and stakeholder-related aspects of project delivery. You will be expected to ensure quality workmanship, meet deadlines, and maintain compliance with industry and safety standards, including the CSOC (Construction Safety Orientation Course) certification.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in planning and scheduling project activities to meet timelines and objectives.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
- Attend site meetings, providing technical input and representing the company in a professional manner.
- Submit weekly documentation including timesheets, expense reports, project tracker updates, and other reports.
- Review system designs prior to installation, ensuring alignment with project requirements and resolving any technical issues.
- Supervise installation works carried out by internal technicians and service partners to ensure high-quality standards.
- Provide timely updates to the Project Manager to facilitate effective resource planning and project tracking.
- Support system solution design, testing, and commissioning throughout the project lifecycle.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in project engineering within the construction industry.
- Certifications: Completion of CSOC (Construction Safety Orientation Course) is required.
- Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of system solution design and commissioning.
Proficient in troubleshooting security systems and installations.
Familiarity with IP technology, basic networking (e.g., Cisco, TCP/IP, routing, switching).
Proficient in MS Office working knowledge of AutoCAD is advantageous. - Soft Skills:
