Job Summary
As a Project Engineer (Electrical), you will lead the supervision of electrical equipment testing and commissioning on site, ensuring compliance and quality through detailed review of technical documentation and active collaboration with clients and contractors.
Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical equipment testing and commissioning activities on site to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards
- Review and submit site acceptance test reports to document and validate equipment performance
- Analyze Single Line Diagrams and Electrical Schematic Drawings to verify design accuracy and support installation processes
- Conduct inspections of electrical equipment installations to identify and resolve issues proactively
- Participate in site activities and meetings with clients and contractors to facilitate communication and project progress
- Execute tasks and assignments as directed by the Commissioning Lead to support project objectives
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of local experience in electrical engineering related to site installation, testing, or commissioning
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience with Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance testing is advantageous
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
