. Review of contractual documents and technical specifications
. Develop technical solutions and corresponding specifications
. Definition of technical requirements of mechanical/electrical equipment, apparatuses and instruments
. Prepare equipment data sheets, drawings, plant layout and P&ID drawings
. Work with different technical disciplines internally or external vendors to meet technical requirements.
. Furnish drawings and documentation to customers as requested in customer's contract
. Schedule and coordinate customer inspections
. Compile final documentation to customer to ensure proper installation and orderly start-up of our systems
. Manage project through various stages (basic, detail engineering, cost control) to ensure all contractual requirements are met prior to shipment
. Participate in customer meetings as and when required
. Conduct testing and commission of designed system with client and third party in workshop and/or client site
. Liaise with suppliers, contractors and customers to meet project schedules
. Execute any other duties assigned by superior
Requirements
. Diploma / Degree in Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering and/or related discipline
. Have fire alarm and detection system, fire suppression system experience is an advantage
. Design using Auto CAD software
. Mindset for technical and economic smart solutions, cost awareness
. Experience working with marine or offshore EPCC Contractor (Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning) will be advantage
. Able to communicate in Mandarin with Chinese speaking customers
