Job Description
Project Planning & Coordination
- Plan, schedule, and manage M&E works in line with project timelines and budgets
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers for smooth execution
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager
Technical Responsibilities
- Review and approve technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
- Identify and resolve technical issues to prevent delays
- Oversee testing and commissioning of M&E systems
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all works comply with safety regulations and relevant codes of practice
- Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings
- Monitor site safety and address any hazards or violations
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, submissions, and claims
- Assist in project scheduling, budgeting, and cost estimation
- Maintain accurate records of site activities and resource usage
Requirements
- Qualifications: Min Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in M&E coordination or project management (construction industry preferred)
- Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and project management tools. Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems and construction integration. Good problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Additional: Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations
