The Project Engineeroversees engineering projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, arecompleted on schedule, and stay within budget. This role involves coordinatingwith various stakeholders, managing resources, and solving technical challengesto achieve project objectives.

Project Planning andManagement:
- Develop detailed projectplans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Coordinate withstakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Schedule and conductregular project meetings to track progress and address any issues
Technical Oversight:
- Review and understandproject specifications, drawings, and other technical documents.
- Ensure that engineeringand technical standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical supportand guidance to the project team.
Resource Coordination:
- Allocate resourceseffectively to ensure project requirements are met.
- Manage relationships withsuppliers, contractors, and other external parties.
- Ensure that materials andequipment are available when needed and meet quality standards.
Quality Control andAssurance:
- Implement quality controlprocedures to ensure project deliverables meet required standards.
- Conduct regularinspections and tests to verify the integrity of project work.
- Address and resolve anyquality issues that arise.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risksand develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progressand adjust plans as necessary to manage risks.
- Prepare contingency plansto address unforeseen challenges.
Cost Management:
- Prepare and manageproject budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and tracked.
- Evaluate financialperformance and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
- Approve expenditures andensure they align with the project budget.
Documentation andReporting:
- Maintain comprehensiveproject documentation, including plans, reports, and correspondence.
- Prepare and deliverprogress reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure all projectdocumentation is complete and accurate for future reference.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all projectactivities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
- Promote a culture ofsafety and ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols.
- Conduct safety audits andinspections to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualities We Value
- Knowledge in Civil / Mechanical /Electrical / Project Management or a related field.
- Certification in project management(e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) / Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent(preferred).
- Experience with specific industrysoftware (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project).
- Familiarity with regulatoryrequirements and industry standards.
- Proven experience in projectmanagement and engineering.
- Strong understanding of engineeringprinciples, construction processes, and project management methodologies.
- Proficiency in project managementsoftware and tools.
- Excellent communication,negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical andproblem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in ateam and manage multiple priorities.
- Office environment with regularvisits to project sites.
- Interaction with a diverse teamincluding engineers, contractors, clients, and stakeholders.
- May require occasional traveldepending on the project location.
