Job Description & Requirements
You will work closely with cross-functional teamsincluding architects, project managers, and engineersto develop integrated security solutions. These will include Access Control, CCTV, Fire Alarm, Public Address, Emergency Voice Communication, and other ELV systems. Your primary responsibility will be to review technical specifications, schematic drawings, and floorplans to ensure compliance with security design standards, while supporting project execution from concept through implementation.
Responsibilities
- Design and propose physical security systems aligned with internal standards and client requirements
- Participate in project lifecycle activities including conceptual planning, design reviews, and stakeholder consultations
- Conduct technical reviews of architectural, mechanical, electrical, and civil drawings to identify potential installation issues
- Provide input on spatial zoning, risk assessments, and lease delineation to support planning and operations
- Guide architects and stakeholders on security posture, zoning concepts, and CPTED principles
- Prepare documentation including colored zone diagrams, risk maps, and system schematics
- Manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and coordinate scope clarifications to prevent rework and budget overruns
- Provide input on project estimates, budgets, and resource planning
- Attend stage gate reviews and handover meetings with install teams
- Track and update project documentation throughout the delivery process
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 35 years of experience in system design or engineering, preferably in security or ELV-related projects
- Experience delivering large-scale projects in the APAC region
- Strong knowledge of electronic security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion, Fire Alarm, PA systems)
- Familiarity with CAD, BIM, or PDF-based design tools
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills
- Able to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and work in a fast-paced regional environment
