Responsibilities:
♦ Manage contract administration, including quantity take-offs, cost estimation, pricing, and the preparation of tender submissions and contract documents.
♦ Source and engage suppliers and subcontractors, obtaining competitive quotations to support tendering activities.
♦ Monitor and control project costs, including variation claims, and other project related expenditures.
♦ Assess and certify progress payment and variation claims, perform cost analysis, and ensure timely processing of variation orders.
♦ Perform the role of Site/Project Engineer by overseeing site activities, ensuring compliance with and safety requirements, coordinating work schedules, and liaising with the Project Manager, Architects, Consultants, and other Stakeholders.
♦ Prepare and manage progress claims, final accounts, and cost reconciliations with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
♦ Provide quantity surveying support throughout the project lifecycle and carry out any other duties assigned by the management as required.
Requirements:
►Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying.
►Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry or a related field.
►Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
►Willingness to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
►Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
►Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
