Developing Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments to test and validate shipboard components, control strategies, and automation systems for emerging maritime technologies.
Integrate sensors, actuators, and industrial controllers with HIL test platforms
Build automated test cases to validate system performance and fault scenarios
Support new business opportunities by development of testing platforms and translation into operational tools or commercial services
Key Requirements
Bachelors in Marine Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Background in control systems, automation, mechatronics, or electrical engineering
Minimal 2 years of work experience with programming (e.g., Python, C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink)
Familiarity with industrial automation or PLC systems
Interest in system testing, simulation environments, and hardware integration
Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-moving R&D environment
Preferably with experience in engineering product development, digital twins, or real-time simulation of marine vessel dynamics
